The development of modern weapons in Latin America
Brazil company Stella Tecnologia showed their largest UCAV in Latin America.
"Atobá ARP is the largest aerial vehicle that has ever made in Latin America". - claimed the company.
Specifications of this UCAV:
ü Maximum takeoff weight: from 500 to 700 kg
ü Length: 8 m
ü Wingspan: 11 m
ü Engine: from 65 to 112 hp
ü Payload: 160 kg
ü Autonomy: 24 hours
ü Data transmission range: 300 km
For comparison, the well-known Bayraktar TB2 has following specifications:
ü Maximum takeoff weight: 650 kg
ü Length: 6.4 m
ü Wingspan: 12 m
ü Engine: 100 hp
ü Payload: 150 kg
ü Autonomy: 24 hours
ü Data transmission range: 150 km
❗️Thus, it can be noted that the Brazilian platform is no worse than the Turkish hyped analogue, and in some respects even surpasses it. This once again confirms that the attitude to the region as underdeveloped technologically is incorrect, it has repeatedly demonstrated technological solutions that are superior to analogues from Eurasia. At the same time, it can be predicted that the further the world goes along the path of multipolarity, the more such examples there will be.
